This bumper is constructed from a combination of 3/16" and 10 gauge steel. The weight of the spare tire and added accessories is transfered to a greasable 1-1/2" hinge pin which is welded into the bumper. The bumper will be available as two options: rear bumper only or as a tire carrier version as shown. The LoD bumper will be available with two different coating options, those options being: a semi-gloss textured black powder coating or with a matte black finish powder coating. The tire carrier version will come standard with an adjustable tire mount, Hi-Lift jack mount, integrated 55 watt halogen reverse lights and two fully welded clevis mounts. The carrier will be manufactured to accept optional Jerry (gas) can mounts as well as an optional Trail Rack (Safari Rack). The options can be added at the time of order or at a later date. Please note that you can not install the Jerry can or adventure rack without the bumper. See image below and you can see that they mount to the swing arm with mounts to the bumper.
