The console itself is poorly designed. The storage bin is hinged so that the opening is toward the windshield and it is so far forward that there would be no way to see into the bin, and it would be very hard to get anything out of it. There is also no way to securely mount a radio. The instruction say to use 2 sided foam tape strips to mount the radio. The rear support replaces the mid cabin dome light and extends about 4 inches or so toward the front and is visible to the interior of the cabin
